Surreal situation in Formula 1

In the morning practice session on the second day of the preseason Formula 1 preseason, there was an exit test on the starting grid just as if it were a Grand Prix. However, the drill became dangerous and it was almost miraculous that there wasn’t a serious accident. The worst thing is that the drivers are the ones to blame.

Only Magnussen, Sainz, and Hamilton reacted and accelerated when the lights went off. The rest didn’t seem to be aware of what was happening, One example was Lando Norris, who stayed put while Sainz hit the accelerator behind him.

This caused Sainz to react quickly by hitting the brakes to avoid an accident that would have overcomplicated things for Ferrari because it would have given them a lot to do in the pits at a moment when they can’t afford to waste time. Luckily, a major accident was avoided.
